For the serious bird watcher, a good pair of binoculars is essential. Don't settle for anything less than 7x magnification and a 1000mm lens!

- Invest in a pair of earplugs, as the birds can get quite loud.
- Don't forget your bug spray, as the mosquitoes can be fierce!
